FORT MILL, S.C. – May 22, 2023– Diversey announced recipients of 18 – $1,000 scholarships for infection preventionists to attend the 2023 Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Conference. The conference takes place June 25-28, 2023, in Orlando, FL. In past years, more than 5,000 people attended the annual conference, including more than 2,500 clinical professionals.
To be selected, recipients must be working in the field of Infection Prevention. As part of the application process, nominees shared details of their engagement in a project or program that contributed to preventing infection or improving patient safety. The winners will have the opportunity to experience the benefits of the conference, including educational sessions, networking with other professionals, and learning about the latest ideas and innovations in the field. Winners will also be honored, with a guest, at a special dinner sponsored by Diversey to network and share their project story.
